James Arthur Ray - Teacher of "The Secret" (www.thesecret.tv)
James is one of the teachers on the now infamous movie "The Secret". He has been traveling the world for the past 17 years teaching people about the "Law of Attraction" and was even a guest on the Oprah show as well as Larry King Live promoting his teachings and this movie
I recently had the opportunity to meet James Ray at a lecture he gave in Dallas on September 11, 2007. In doing so, I asked him for his autograph which he gladly gave to me.

Since James only signed his name, I am limited on what I can say about him. (The more handwriting you have, the more you can see. Also, a signature only shows what you want the world to see, whereas your handwriting shows what you are really like.) Normally I don't like to analyze just a person's signature, but there are quite a few things that this signature tells about him that I would like to share with you.
First, James has a HUGE ego. It isn't surprising though, because most famous people have the same kind of ego. I find that it is a driving force for people to reach "fame". It's their need to say "Hey, look at me! I'm great and wonderful and you should love me because I am so wonderful." People with this large of an ego want love and recognition from their peers.
Another thing not surprising that his signature showed is that he has "leadership abilities". Which means that he sees himself as being one of the "top" in his field. This adds to the ego. This isn't a bad thing for any celebrity or famous person to have.
Unfortunately, James also has a lot of long term resentment (unresolved anger), which I was very surprised to have found. You just wouldn't expect to find that in someone who is so "spiritually evolved" and who teaches other people to "get over it". This is something that he really needs to work on with himself - forgiveness. People who show resentment in their handwriting are really not happy people. They can't be because they are holding onto an intense anger they just can't seem to let go of.
James likes to hold onto what is "his". What's his is his and he doesn't want anyone else messing with his stuff. What this means is that he doesn't like other people borrowing his things and he holds a fear that something may happen to his "stuff" if someone else were to borrow it. This may or may not be part of the reason he is still holding onto his resentment. Again, whats his is his and he doesn't want anyone messing with what is his.
James has a "public persona" that he shows to the world, but he doesn't want people to know what he is "really like"; the "real James". He is private about who he really is and is discriminate in who he lets get to know the real him. His "out of public" personality is probably (guessing based on his signature since I don't have his regular handwriting to compare) much different than what he shows to the world.
Lastly, he is talkative, but slightly secretive and cautious. This means that he may dominate a conversation and possibly say things he would rather keep private. The caution that he shows, though, will tend to slow that down so that he doesn't reveal too much about himself and it also shows that he is careful with who he will allow himself to truly trust.
I think James is a pretty good teacher; he has good knowledge to pass on. But some of the characteristics that show in this signature would make me a little cautious in wanting to take any course that he teaches.
