Handwriting Expert
Kellye Magbee
At the age of 12, Kellye had her first encounter with Handwriting Analysis at the State Fair of Texas. She saw a huge machine that boasted that it could tell about your personality by "looking" at your handwriting. She went up to the machine, signed her name on a piece of paper and it popped out a report that shocked her to read. Though it wasn't entirely accurate, the majority of what it said about her was true. Her next time to come across this fascinating science wasn't until many years later.
At the age of 28, Kellye went through a really rough break up with a man who, though she didn't realize it at the time, abused her mentally, emotionally, psychologically, and it ended with physical abuse. It wasn't until years later that she realized that she was no longer the person she used to be before that relationship. For three long years, she held onto an anger for this man that she could not let go of.
One day on her way to work, she heard a man on the radio talking about Handwriting Analysis. He was telling how it had been helpful to him and those who he had taught and he analyzed some people's handwriting on the radio show. Everyone, including the DJ's were amazed at the things this man could tell them that their handwriting revealed about their personalities.
The man on the radio was offering classes at his loft in Dallas at the time, so Kellye decided to start going to them. She learned many fascinating things that could be seen by looking at other people's handwriting. She started to analyze her own handwriting and the handwriting of her friends, family, and co-workers. It was at these classes that she learned of "Graphotherapy". She was intrigued at the idea of being able to change her personality by changing how she wrote. (After all, she wasn't the same person she used to be before that horrible relationship and she wanted to be like she used to be before then. She eventually changed several different things in her own handwriting.) By this time, Kellye was hooked and wanted to buy everything this man used to teach Handwriting Analysis. Though she really had no intention of doing it for a living, she wanted to learn all that she could about people by looking at their handwriting. By May of 2000, she enrolled in the certification program.
One thing that Kellye found especially helpful to her was analyzing the handwriting of men she considered dating. She knew that by looking at the handwriting of potential partners that she could tell if they were the kind of men she would want to be with. (After looking at some of her ex-boyfriend's handwritings, she knew what she no longer wanted to have in a relationship.) She found it to be very helpful and boasts about how it had helped her avoid relationships that could potentially have been "bad news".
In June of 2001, Kellye developed carpal tunnel and could no longer work in a traditional office job any longer. (It eventually took 2 years to be able to use her arms in a more normal manner again, but still with limitations.) In January of 2002, she realized that she was not getting any better and needed to look for some other work that she could do to support herself. (If you've ever had carpal tunnel, then you know there aren't many jobs you can do without using your hands and arms.) The only thing she knew that she could do that didn't require the use of her arms was Handwriting Analysis. (And by this time, she had already analyzed 150+ people's handwriting and was quite sure of her ability in this area.) This was a blessing in disguise for Kellye.
Since then, Kellye has analyzed well over 1000 people, been on both the radio and TV, written her book "Pocket Personality Profiler", taught several classes in this subject, given dozens of lectures, worked at several fairs and parties analyzing guests, helped many people change their life by changing how they write, helped dozens of couples by bringing understanding to their relationship through Compatibility Analysis, and much more.
Today, Kellye enjoys bringing insights to people by what handwriting reveals about people's personalities. She especially enjoys how she can help people in their lives with this fascinating science.
